Light + Dark

Light + Dark is a lighting design studio with offices in Toronto, Canada and Sydney, Australia. I started by crafting a brand name for them that would capture the dramatic essence of their work - the play between shadows and light that makes the magic in what they do. Along with the name, they wanted a sleek and minimalist brand footprint that would appeal to the high-end clients they work with. We landed on a “plus” symbol made out of rays of light as something unique and modern to build from, and created a complete design system around it. You can check out the website at lightanddark.ca
